Consider a different way

Our School’s Foundational Blocks

All Things are Held Together in Christ

Paul preaches that the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ (Col 2:3). Solomon tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning—not just of wisdom—but also of knowledge (Prov. 1:7). All subjects are interconnected in Christ, and facts are facts because Jesus is Lord and Creator of the Universe.

The True, The Good, and The Beautiful

These are not abstract ideas. These are knowable realities that we discover in God, through his word, and his creation. God is Truth. He is Good. And He is Beauty. When a child is taught these realities their soul is truly filled and nourished.

Looking to the Future

Our hope is that students leave our doors prepared not just for college and a career, but for all of life and godliness.

At King Alfred Academy we believe in…

Partnering with Parents

Parents have the God-given responsibility and privilege to raise their children in the instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). We do not replace parents, but come along side them in this responsibility by providing an education that reflects our shared Christian worldview.

A Standard of Excellence

We value an education that provides students with certain cornerstone skills that go far beyond what is necessary to go to college or get a job, but rather to read well, think well, and speak well. These intentionally cultivated skills are foundational for effective Christian leaders who shape society for the glory of God.

Educating the Whole Person

Children are not only minds, but also bodies, souls and spirits. Through the avenue of the Trivium, we will educate intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually as we aim to develop the whole person, which is the ultimate purpose for any Classical Christian academy.
